The National Vintage Awards 2015 Event & winners

This was the 3rd Annual National Vintage Awards ceremony and it was held on Wednesday 15th July 2015, at the Pittsville Pumprooms, Cheltenham.

Hosted by the amazing Kiki Deville (Vintage Personality of the year 2014) and Jonathan D Ellis (West End Actor, Singer, and Dancer) with a number of special guests and performers including The Tootsie Rollers, the awards ceremony was a resounding success and certainly up there with one of my favourite events of 2015.

I was fortunate enough to make it into the finals for Best Pinup Model 2015 – a poignant milestone for me and easily one of my biggest achievements to date. The other pinup model finalists included Scarlett Luxe, Lexy Lu, and Romanie Smith – so lots of influential names…

Well, as most of you know, Miss Scarlet Luxe took the 2015 trophy after years of dedication to the pinup world – a worthy winner and key role model within the world of pinup.

I was over the moon to have been nominated and getting the opportunity to compete against so many top industry names really made it an experience that I’ll never forget.

I most definitely plan to attend The National Vintage Awards 2016 and I may even enter for Best Pinup Model again. I think it’s really important for pinup models to immerse themselves in as many competitions as possible. They are not only fantastic platforms to showcase your talent, personality, and signature style, but the pinup circuit is also a fantastic opportunity to meet new faces, develop your confidence, and draw inspiration from a vast array of different looks and themes.

I try and enter as many competitions as possible and think they’re a great way to perfect your pinup skills.
